My first Blog, EVER! Call me crazy, but I have never been one for blogging, myspace, or even facebook. But today I currently have an account in each of the listed items. So, what is the purpose of my blog?! What am I even thinking?! Well....as you noticed the name of my blog is "The Wedding Pit". I got the idea from the movie "The Money Pit" with Tom Hanks. If you have not seen it, I HIGHLY recommend it! The whole plot behind "The Money Pit" is this young engaged couple who buys a house...well a mansion...at a VERY cheap price. They are so excited about their new purchase until they move in. From this point forward everything falls apart, and they end up spending SO much money just to be able to live in the house. The theme of my Blog is "The Wedding Pit" because Andy (my boyfriend) and I just got engaged, and I am determined to have a 5 star wedding for under $10k. Is it possible? I have no clue! But I do know that if I can pull it off, many other brides-to-be can know that it is possible to have a spectacular wedding without going in debt or selling a kidney (I already asked about the kidney..haha).
